Watercolor painting is a meditative, spiritual, and creative outlet for Melissa. With a background in art education, religious studies, and a concentration in watercolor and oil painting, she seeks to empower women of all ages with her work.

Personal Projects
Melissa's personal work explores WLW themes. She seeks to provide positive representation for lesbian, bi, pan, and queer identified women and girls. Irish and Celtic folklore also a big influence on her work.

Watercolor Couple Commissions
Melissa occasionally takes commissions for couple work. She likes to incorporate meaningful, locations, symbols, and colors unique to each couple.

Melissa occasionally takes commissions for portrait work. She also often paints portraits of people she cares about as a warmup exercise.

Pet Portraits
A life-long animal lover, Melissa enjoys painting the occasional furry family member. When she opens holiday commission slots, these are her favorite types of projects to take on.

Breathing life into her own and others' characters is something Melissa has loved to do since she was a little girl.
